    The house I lived in while attending Indiana University is in the movie. The house the family lived in is on the same block, on the other end. I lived on the corner where the address was *02 and the house the movie family lived in was *48.

    For those who attended IU, the movie really is a good movie. I'm not sure the tension between the townies and the college is as bad as the movie projects. But from what I hear, there was a time similar to the movie. Most of the buildings in the IU campus were built with Indiana Limestone, cut from the quarries where they boys are swimming. Even though the movie is a work of fiction there are many points of non-fiction represented. Though while I was there, I never heard anyone refer to someone else as a Cutter.

    And to top it off, I happen to be wearing my IU tie today. Go IU!

    What's with the people eating in Asian restaurants using chopsticks for their rice? They're not asian people and they're not using the sticks like asian people do, you know, holding the bowl at your mouth and kind of shovelling. What's the point? Is it a sense of accomplishment?
