<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(screaming red @ Sep 14 2007, 06:00 PM) </div> Yes. The next poster wants to scream! It's almost 1730 in Dallas, and his mortgage guy is working overtime, and still no word from the all powerful underwriter!
Yes... EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm screaming for you TJ! The next poster is really ready for today to be over... at least the work part of it.
Yes, and tomorrow should be over too. We're having people over and I hate entertaining. The next poster ate way too much candy today and has an icky belly now.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(eclectcmoi @ Sep 14 2007, 05:45 PM) </div> It *IS* over. I worked like a dog today. I had to set up the entire library to be ready for orientation Monday morning. I packed 8 sets of boxes on carts for various teachers to pick up today. Lucky for me the sixth grade team knows and practices teamwork. I vacuumed the entire library. I moved half of the tables. The custodians moved the rest of the tables and moved the computer desks back. One broke but they got it fixed. I moved ALL of the chairs back. I called the shop teacher to come over on his prep and we hung all of our U.S. history plaques: The Declaration of Independence and the four plaques with the Constitution on them. All five in the entry foyer. I've been waiting since last October for them to get put up. They may not be pretty but they're up there. The only thing I didn't get done was to clean my office. So I just took some boxes and stuck them in my car. Instant clean. Of course, if I change schools I'll be packing anyway so just as well to take the stuff home. The next poster is enjoying an ice cream or frozen juice bar.
No, but a juice bar sounds tasty. The next poster's developed the water-saving habit of pausing the shower while they soap up.
Yes, I feel compelled to do that even in the cold of winter. The next poster has MPG that's suffering due to the seasonal changes.
No... mine's actually gotten better since it's cooled down a bit and I don't have to use the air as much. The next poster takes requests.
Why, as a matter of fact, I do! The next poster just finished installing a luxurious merino sheepskin seat cover in their prius. (Please don't go all feral on me for using animal products)
No, but if I had as many sheep as samiam, I'd have seat covers in the car and the house. And toasty comfy slippers for the whole family. The next poster's enjoying the sunshine while it lasts.
Yes, though now that my house has a roof, and all of the cracks and gaps in the walls are sealed (900 tubes of caulk later...), and there's a shiny new coat of paint, I'm feeling better about the possibilty of winter. The next poster is dreading next week, when they are: Starting a new job in another department. Still responsible for finishing up projects in their current department for at leat 2 weeks. Re-Starting school to finish their degree. Moving all of the furniture, picking up the Tuxes, and herding the groomsmen for their brother's wedding.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Rand Reed @ Sep 14 2007, 07:48 PM) </div> Nope. I already have one. The next poster is watching Meerkat Manor tonight.
Nope, we don't have cable. But the kids enjoyed it a lot last time we stayed in a motel. The next poster is wondering if this is a new event Rand needs sponsoring for, or he's just been prepping for a few months (and they want to donate cos MS really sucks.)
No. The next poster FINALLY GOT A CLEAR TO CLOSE! And is now moving to Dallas, starting Sunday, and will close on the house Wednesday!
hooray TJ! good luck with the move! the next poster is relieved that the outside temperatures are finally starting to come down to near their comfort level.
Bluck. No. I have to wear a coat until it's around 80 degrees or I'm cold. Imagine how I feel when it's in the 60's? The next poster will go to watch the monarch migration tomorrow. (Happy for you too, TJ!)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee @ Sep 15 2007, 10:18 AM) </div> Absolutely. I might actually get some work done outside today. Still need to fix two window screens and finish reglazing the dining room window. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(SSimon @ Sep 15 2007, 10:39 AM) </div> Nope. Sorry. But I am watching my Orb Weaver go through the cycles of her life. Today I noticed a second egg sack. But I think she's dieing now. She shows a little movement but I think it is just reflexes. It looks like her head and upper body are gone. The next poster hugged and kissed their dog (or cat) today and told them how GOOD they are and that they love them.
As a matter of fact I did. Then he went in the cat box and left the stinkiest poop imaginable. Wonder what that means? The next poster is being very quiet.
Yes, but I'm smiling on the inside. The next poster wonders when Screaming Red is going to take her turn in google map search.
Nope, I've stayed out of the Googlemap search thread, so I don't know who's participating and who's not. Next poster thinks TJ should throw a great big housewarming party once he gets settled into the new house. Margaritas for everybody!
