<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TJandGENESIS @ Sep 10 2007, 01:22 AM) </div> Um....nope. Spent the day watching HGTV. The next poster is in the middle of a really good book.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Sonny Jim @ Sep 10 2007, 01:35 AM) </div> Yes The next poster has the radio on.
I had a pretty relaxing weekend, so I feel like I am caught up. I could ALWAYS use another weekend though. The next poster sat for a while this weekend and watched hummingbirds feed.
OMG! Yes. I have FIVE of these little things. I had two feeders out and fighting ensued so I bought another and then another and yet another feeder as more hummers kept appearing. I just cleaned them all today and put fresh solution in for them. Interestingly, I read that the hummers you have at your feeder today during migration, will not be the same that you have at your feeders tomorrow as they move on so quickly. I think it may be true as a male was dominating one of the feeders the other day and now I only see females. The next poster is working from home today and is unable to use this as hooky time due to inclement weather.
I wish I was working from home. The next poster is signing up for classes to further his/her education, and maybe get a better job.
well i'm done with classes, but yes, i am doing the education thing. the next poster hopes tomorrow's work goes better than today's.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee @ Sep 10 2007, 06:34 PM) </div> Yes. In fact it's almost guaranteed. Textbook checkout is over for the three grades. Tomorrow is only electives (Foreign languages and the arts) plus anyone who was absent or enrolled late. So much less stressful. And Wed. will only be Special Ed. (And I think those teachers will find that many of their students already have their books.) Then we can start to clean up the library and get ready for business. Orientations start next Monday so we'll only have Thursday and Friday to get ready. But all in all, much better than today. The next poster is having issues with some work they've contracted to have done. (Borrego Solar is in the doghouse again. And the SDG&E netmetering guy does *not* have much respect for them.)
Nope. No contractors here now. I am thinking though of hiring someone to pressure was and stain/seal the deck. Also want to have some more lanscape work done now that the weather is improving. The next poster went bowling tonight and didn't do too badly.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TJandGENESIS @ Sep 11 2007, 03:18 AM) </div> Yup. Wisconsin on Monday, then on to Minnesota Thursday. The next poster is planning to have lunch with a long-lost friend.
Nope. The next poster needs to call the insurance and the body shop to get the car fixed and is dreading to pay the $500 deductible.
been there, done that about a month ago. i know it sucks- especially on a grad student stipend! the next poster has already smacked their hand against their forehead multiple times today.
No. Hey galaxee... you could a had a V-8. (Sorry... I know that was terrible.) The next poster likes wasabi.
nah, all i have left to do now is paperwork/records type stuff. but i do have to leave early today. the next poster is letting the desk clutter build up again.
I was thinking the same this morning!!! Wow. The next poster wonders what life outside grad school is like.
Nope. No rain - just a balmy 75 degrees with a light breeze. A refreshing change from the 87 degrees with 85% humidity I had last week. The next poster is ready to leave work, get on a plane, and fly to some Caribbean destination - despite this being their first day back from a beautiful week of the same, and despite of the heat, humidity, and hurricanes....
