No, I just ordered some DNA today. Hopefully it will be here next Tuesday or so. Have to order some RNA also. The next poster thinks galaxee should try hosting prospective graduate students during 'open house' and get free meals out of that.
Sounds like it could work. The next poster doctored a co-worker this morning who got stung by a bee. And no... not AuntBee!
Yes (yawn, scratch), now I am wondering. The next poster remembers stopping in Death Valley during the summer once, and experiencing first-hand the delights of breathing 128-degree, humidity-less air, as I once did. More than the view is breathtaking.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Jack Kelly @ Jul 6 2007, 12:10 PM) </div> Actually, yes! The next poster should know, I feel fine, but am irritated by the sun. I am a night owl, and am used to sleeping in the day.
No, I didn't know that. I too am a night owl but I do relish the sun. It's presence actually dictates my mood! Right now sunny, so right now happy. The next poster loves peanut butter!
I do enjoy peanut butter toast or an apple and peanut butter. The next poster thinks today is going by very slooooooooooooooowly.
yes and no. i prefer to be doing my own work but two students are keeping me busy today. the next poster is feeling slightly dissociated from the world.
No... did that just a year ago. Congrats to you though TJ! That's awesome! The next poster does not like bugs.
Well, now, that depends on the bug. I really kind of like Praying Mantises and ladybugs, and even the occasional giant green garden spider (you know the ones who make those incredible webs..). I'm pretty much in the hate department with anything that bites or stings (except honey bees), and any bug over about 2" long that isn't a Mantis or a dragonfly. The next poster took 2 days off this week, and should be much more rested than they seem to be....
I did take 2 days off--Saturday and Sunday! (I like bees, by the way, and birds Next poster discovered a new oldies station this week to enhance their drive time listening pleasure.
Nope. I think five more weeks of relaxation ought to do it. Okay, not total relaxation, I have a much neglected house to take care of and 4 active children to keep up with, etc. But, the memories of working with 150 early adolescents every day are starting to fade. I'll soon be looking forward to beginning the next school year. It's kind of like giving birth, the pain fades away with time and then oops, what were we thinking, we're pregnant again! The next poster is helping an octeganarian neighbor choose between going home or moving into an assisted living facility when medicare stops paying for her rehab. Oh, I see Aunt Bee knows how to play this game better than me. Her reply posted just before mine. So, Aunt Bee, I loooove just about any kind of oldies: 70's tunes and bluegrass banjo pickin' roots are my favorites.
No... but how nice of you teach to help out your neighbor. The next poster sat and laughed with an old friend tonight and it felt really good.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(eclectcmoi @ Jul 7 2007, 02:02 AM) </div> Nope. The next poster has to sleep soon.
No, just woke up. The next poster has very poor eye sight due to bad genes (-9 on the left and -11 on the right), and wishes they don't deteriorate further. P.S.: I should worship the person who designed contact lenses.
Kind of, I had excellent eyesight until I used to intentionally blur them while doing pointilism drawings to "accuratly see" density transitions. While I created some very nice drawuings and etchings, I ruined my eyesight. I went from 20/15 to 20/800, now I'm back in the 20/250 range. I too worship the inventor of contact lenses (my favorite technological wonder.) The next poster will experience temps in the 70's today.
Nope... it will be in the 90's today. The next poster is going to do something pampering for his or herself today.
I did if a haircut counts (I almost fell asleep in the chair, but my hairstylist's talking kept me awake). Afterwards, long drive in the country--that was relaxing too. Next poster got their MPG up over 60 again. (Looks like I'll finally make that 600, or at least 575, tank of gas.)
