Well, actually, I usually have trouble noticing things that are right in front of my face. Besides, I haven't been around long enough to notice who is missing. I absolutely certain that someone noticed you were missing, though. The next poster is having a blissful moment luxuriating in the cool air from the air conditioning unit they just finished installing. Either that, or they are green with envy 'cause they don't have one!
I am luxuriating in cool air, but the A/C has been in the window for a few weeks now The next poster saw some Angels today.
Nope. Don't have a brother. Unless you count the half-brother I've been told I have whom I've never met, but of course, I wouldn't be at his house either because I've never met him and if he even exists, he most likely lives in Germany. But I was at my nieces house earlier today Next poster hopes to sleep in late tomorrow.
<sigh> Nope. I've got (more) wiring to work on in the attic - I'll be up early so it's not too hot. Thr next poster desperately needs more bookshelves - the stacks of books are taking over the world!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mad Hatter @ Jun 24 2007, 12:44 AM) </div> Yes! The next poster can't stand when tech support refuses to admit that they have the problem with their servers, and it's not with your computer.
Hey! I resemble that remark since I work in tech support. Well, sorta. Well, used to when I was in NC. Well, you know what I mean. I have experienced tech support calls that left me rather furious, but I try not to treat my "customers" that way... I am very disappointed that my best efforts so far in getting a hacked "Series 1" TiVo working with the South African TiVo project so far have remained fruitless and that that dang thing reboots itself about 10 times a day. I suspect it's a network card driver issue. Next poster wishes it would quite raining so that they could get on with the project they had planned for today.
Yes. I rode it yesterday after a looong time. The next poster couldn't fit his/her bike inside the Prius with the back seats down and wonders if anyone has done it successfully.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Michgal007 @ Jun 24 2007, 08:15 AM) </div> Yes. The next poster hates brats at hotels, up before 8AM, running around in the halls.
Yes! I've often wondered if their parents let them do that to get them out of their hair for a while. The next poster is not going to have a lazy day today as they had yesterday.
Lazy day? Yesterday I was drenching the lambs in horrible weather. Today the weather is comming right and I have to be back in the office. Next weekend it will be taxes and helping my daughter move. But enough moaning. The next poster agrees that cold clear mornings are good for the soul, but are only tolerable with decent slippers.
yes, agreed--though we don't experience many cold clear mornings here in Tennessee. Next poster is sick of their HOA griping about inconsequential things.
Ack! Blick! Phooey! No way I'm moving from California - especially not to Texas. I don't mind hot. I don't mind wet. I HATE hot and wet! The next poster is supposed to be on vacation tomorrow, but they are going to end up working 4 hours from home...
Nope vacation starts friday! 2week road trip! IN the prius of course! The next poster wants to make me lunch
i suppose i am. sorry! you aren't one of those clueless a-hole types though, so you don't count in my general anti-tech support book. the next poster has three cars for two people, only one of which can be driven. and feels way redneck about it.
No, just have one car for one person. (Galaxee, don't feel redneck unless you have upholstered furniture and a refrigerator on your front porch too.) Next poster has a meeting that they're trying to get out of tomorrow.
