You sure it wasn't waiting for you in CLT when you made your trip back to the frozen north?

Here is a rough guess at the difference between what a stock 1967 Firebird looks like and the finished Firebrid.

Firebrid hood looks a little lower to me. I thought it looked narrower too, but that is just an optical illusion, I think.

The Firebrid profile looks better, I think.

So, when are you going into production? I'm sure you can sell 3 or 4 just from where you are on this project now.

The profile is somewhat more modern looking to me, too. It has hints of the new Camaro in places.

Production? I'll sell the rights to any Billionaire who has a spare million or two to offer, as long as they promise to help me finish mine. ;)

Toyota Prius v Superdown Sus Springs 2011+ | RS-R USA
RS-R T088S Super Down Sus Lowering Spring Set

Ordering a set for the Firebrid this weekend from a different website that still has some. They should improve both the ride height and handling.

Great day in the garage. It's been too long since I've had some wrench therapy.

Bumper, core support and mounting brackets are back off of the car.

The cut-off wheel made quick work of the bracket pieces that needed to be cut apart. I also got some of the cuts made on the core support before the garage time was over.

Three day weekend for me next weekend. I should be able to start welding the brackets into their new configuration by then. :)

Mine too. But I have enjoyed all of them except the whitewater rafting (my interest ended when I ended up in the middle of the Wenatchee River having been upended by a Class 4 rapid -- lost everything except the life jacket I was thankful to be wearing).

The marriage hobby (my most expensive) ended poorly for me, very good for the ex-wife. The interest in that hobby never waned on my part.

Doubtful. The fuel tank is under the rear seat area and the gas fill is over the left rear wheel now. The rear is mostly empty structure until I add some goodies like a Power-out module and some plug-in hybrid batteries (in phase 2 of the project.)
