More measurements. More drawing in AutoCAD during my lunch times. I hope these colors show up here.

The Prius v internal a/c system WILL fit behind the dash, but it will be tight. I will need to cut-out part of the Firebird transmission tunnel, since the Denso a/c will be lower than that on the bottom. Ducting will be interesting too once things are together. It is looking more and more like I will need to radically customize the console on the transmission hump to fit all of the controls too.

Still planning to nest the frames the same way as before. The final car will sit an inch higher than it did originally, and the bottoms of the doors and fenders will need to be flared out. It should give it an interesting appearance!

These are my guides as to where to make my cuts on the firewall of the Firebird body. If things go to plan and I get enough dry weather this weekend, I will pass the point of no return on the Firebird body. I bought the extra saw blades this evening. Fun times coming!

Looks like you'll be cutting out and fitting a fuel door in the Firebrid as well.

ya know the guys on "fast N loud" would have had this done by the third commercial and sold by the end of the show.
just duct tape it together, paint it with spray paint and sell in on the "interweb" like they do.

Hoping to pick up a late '60's GM fuel door with the same contour for that. The original fuel door on the Firebird was over the center of the rear bumper. I plan to use that as the location of the power-out plug and also use the bird emblem as the center brake light.

They can be as fast and as loud as they want. I'm into calm and quiet myself. They can find their own Firebird to work on.

Oh, and selling this car will be my heir's problem far into the future, not mine.

Enjoy your beer. I'm allergic to alcohol, so I've spent my life as the designated driver.

No progress this weekend. Rain and lots of indoor chores. Hoping for better weather next weekend.

    As you requested.

Today I have past the point of no return. Many Firebird owners just passed out over what I did today...

Mischief managed. It should look somewhat like the etch-a-sketch drawing in the previous post. :D

Tomorrow it's time to measure the floorpans to see what stays and what goes.

Wow, with all that metal cutting, maybe a plasma cutter would've been a worthwhile investment? (y)

Prius C is so much wider than Anglia. Wheels would sit almost completely outside the body line. You would have problems even getting the Prius C strut tower inside the front fender of Anglia. :D
