Which is why the stock is up. Cash is king! Cash flow is life itself! We'll see how the numbers come in on the sale of promises. I am hopeful.

Ya, that was one of the legs of the stool the shorts were sitting on, that they wouldn't be able to raise funds easily or cheaply.

if you look up elon musk and PayPal, (which a certain member here keeps ranting about) you gain even more respect for his brilliance and perseverance.

there probably isn't another person in the world who could pull this off.

Buy the car. It adds an EV to the world's fleet.
Buying the stock is just trading paper with someone.

Stock has a chance of appreciating. A car, even a Tesla, not so much.

$20K of car and $20K of stock? Not possible yet. Can't wait for a $20K Tesla car.

$4,500 down - $695 acquisition - then swap out of it - if you get board w/it.

    My history:
    • 02/28 - $2.5k deposit on Standard Range Model 3
    • 03/26 - $21.9k financed Standard Range Plus Model 3
    • 04/30 - $10.4k sold KL mining stock
    • 05/01 - $0.35k car payment
    • 05/06 - $10k paid on loan, saving ~$1.7k interest
    • 05/11 - Tesla Autopilot dealt with my five micro-sleep events and we safely arrived home.
A voluntarily imposed, national sales tax, the tariff, has hit stocks hard including my TSLA holdings. For now, I'll wait but my 401k holding in bonds is doing quite well.
