You'll just list the info on your tax return for 2006 (in 2007, of course). Our "voluntary compliance" tax system probably means you won't have to submit your original contract or registration information to prove you are due the credit. But if the IRS comes knocking, you'll want to have the back up ready (think fees and penalities!)
