the et50 would require you to use spacers for the front and rear. i just put my rear spacer on yesterday. my rear wheel et45. i put a 10mm spacer and now its perfect. if you wanna give your car a flush fitment, you will need at least a 5mm up front and a 15 in the rear.

Have you tried putting on the stock 17" V wheels to see how it looks with the spacers and lowered? I'm more interested in that setup since that's something I might end up doing.

BTW, with the stock 17" wheels, do you think 20mm or 25mm spacers would be too wide on the car? Or would it sit flush with the fenders?

i havent tried the 17's, but i can tell you that a 20-25mm spacer would be too much. probably a 5 or 10mm up front and a 15mm in the rear would be more appropriate

Kiokenprius, what did they charge you over at Darkside fo rthe springs? They are only about 20 minutes away from me. Also, how long did it take to get them? I really like the stance of your car. I think it will be perfect for what I'm looking for and save me down the road from spending big money on coilovers. Shortly after I got my car last June I went in there and talked to one of the guys there and he said Kenny (the owner) was in Japan looking at stuff for our cars as well as others, but said they already have lined up a company there that is doing carbon fiber hoods. Haven't checked back to see if they've sold any, but think it would look especially good on the BP's. I'm not sure if you'd even be interested but thought I'd throw it out there. Think they quoted around $600 shipped to Darkside. Not bad all things considered. Once I'm out of my cast and can drive again, I will have to go down and order me up some springs.

the spring were $220. it took a while to get because i was on the very first batch that went out from tanabe. if you were to order im sure it would take a few days for them to get them in given theyre in stock. im not interested in a carbon hood but thanks. i just wanted a clean dd. nothing to crazy. im just gonna do a front lip and that should be it for me. let me know if you have any other questions

I love my tanabe springs. I dIdnt notice to an ocean of ifference between DF210 and the NF210 In terms of feel, but the DFs are, as expected, lower.

I had 18" TRD 5 spoke wheels on too, no spacers needed, but I went back to the stock rims after a short run on them (at 27lbs per wheel sans tire) the speed up and slow down rates were uncomfortably higher. that said, if I can get some lighter wheels, I'm going back to 18"s

OP: Did you have to shorten the OEM studs? I mean....I'm assuming your spacers have a hub-centric lip on it.

i have a 18x8 et45. i put a 10mm spacer in the rear and everything is fine. i could even put a 15mm if i wanna go more aggressive but the 10mm will do.
