I am also unable to access Network B. Scantool.net support is not very responsive, but I figured out that the app is actually made by obdsoftware.net for scantool.net. I contacted obdsoftware.net support and here is their reply:

Thanks for the info. I don't know how I can update the firmware on OBDLink LX. Do you have any idea how?

Yes, there is a firmware update option in the Settings page of the obdlink app.

If you have ever connected your OBDLink LX with the obdlink app, it will show your serial number and current firmware version on the settings, firmware updates page.

Ver 4.3.0 was released 8/17/2017 and is the most recent.

I agree...let it beep. Especially helpful if other people borrow the car. I deleted beep on my 01 and 04, left it on on my 15,16,and17 after other users nearly bumped things on the earlier models.

Has anyone has an issue with the carista obd reader?

I tried to purchase mine from amazon and got informed amazon had to cancel my order. Next thing I know the item that had almost 900 positive reviews was pulled from amazon. Was item B00YVHGTBM on amazon.

I found another source to buy it but I am now hesitant.

I have a BlueDriver OBD2 bluetooth scanner but the app has no options to change reverse beep. Is there another iPhone app I can use with my BlueDriver that offers customization options? I tried the Carista app and it doesn’t recognize my BlueDriver.

Got my new 2019 Prime and didn't want to deal with the hassle of having the dealer change my options on the car during a service so I got the Carista for $19.99 w/ the 1 month subscription. Worked amazingly and easily.

Changed the reverse beep, windows down on remote, number of turn signal clicks, seatbelt warning, and a few more simple ones. Nothing major but WELL worth the 20 bucks. I also plugged it up in my Highlander and changed a few settings too.

    Simple diagnostics scan too.

The Dr Prius app can do that too, in conjunction with the Carista OBDII bluetooth device. It's not free, but it's a one-time expense, around $15 IIRC.

I was able to use Dr. Prius / Dr. Hybrid to disable the reverse beep without having to pay extra. There were other feature that did require a one time fee but not the reverse beep or seatbelt warning.
