Sudden Coolant loss

    Ask Hubby if he's done a 'leak down' test or an EGR cleaning.
    If not - then skip the first one and start reading up on the second one.

    Monitor your coolant and be on the lookout for the "Prius Death Rattle."
    P.S. Oven Cleaner may or may not be a good sub for brake cleaner - FROM WHAT I HAVE HEARD.

    I only put about 125,000 miles on two Priuses for my company and they changed the oil every 5,000 miles so I have not seen the death rattle myself in person.
