Pat, you did. V8CobraKid was kind enough to elaborate on his response which in fact he did get correct. There is no remaining reason why he should not be awarded the victory. So the crown is passed to V8CobraKid (again!). You've chumped us again, V8. ZC1
woohoo? haha.. j/k.. i'm happy. thanks for the PM.. or else i wouldn't have looked at this till.. oh... now So i'm victorious again... can i get my name engraved on this crown? K... running out to my car to pick out a part...
I think I know, but I may not have the accurate terms to describe it. That is the screw that holds the throttle flap. If you open up the air cleaner and look down into the throat of the throttle, that's what you see. The screw goes through a rod and attaches to a circular metal disk. The rod rotates to open and close the throttle, allowing more or less air to enter the intake manifold by changing how much the disk blocks the throttle passage.
Thanks! I'll post a pic tomorrow since it's dark here now for picture taking. I'm surprised Patrick Wong didn't get this.
i agree with Bill.. it really is a one of a kind piece.. zoomed or not I guess i should have looked online for a better pic. that one was taken earlier by me with everything still on top of it.( which explains why i only show 1 screw)
that almost looks like the bushing for the arm that's located on the bottom of the engine.. motor mount/dampener...
I have seen this somewhere, I believe it is a nut which secures a wiring loom and I'll guess it is in the drivers side of the dash.
I know I have Bill, I'll have another stab. It is a gromet which fills a hole in the bottom of the spare wheel well. Enough already with the nut comments, truth hurts you know.
What it is: Plastic Grommet Where it's at: In the forward lower right hand portion of the rear wheel wells (if you are facing the front of the car). You can see it if you look between the front of either rear tire and the body line. I believe if removed it will allow access to a bolt. Furthermore, I think there is one on each side of the front wheel wells, harder to see. ZC1
