Stall in San Fransisco

    Well I put the "supposedly bad pump on my "spare prius" and it works great there. so now I have two good working pumps.

    Maybe the bad pump only goes out after long use?

    Anyways I'm just hoping the problem is solved, I constantly check my coolant tank to see the stream of the pump is nice and strong now and has been ever since I put it on.

    so the only way I'll be calm is when 3 months go by without incident. Because the problem surfaced approximately by one month intervals.

    If you're lucky, it was a connector problem. Reseating the connector will clear the problem and it may go for a long time before it needs to be reseated again.

    A little dielectric grease on the pins might help to keep things clean if it's really just a connector problem. If moisture is getting in there, it could be as simple as a little corrosion.

    if it is moisture it would explain why it happened in San Fran, because the weather was terrible and rainy and humid.

    eh, whatever I don't care as long as it don't happen again.
