Speedometer display blank, car won't turn off

Lots of combo info in there. need some low esr replacement caps. I'm on my second year of replacement combo form Texas Hybrids.

I’ve got the mess torn apart . I need all the vents the ones that break I’ve you touch upper glove box door assy too. This in a taupe metal flake lookin old lady car . My speedo comes n goes . Car 12 is great 13.9 at charge . 12.8 sitting . Window switch is flashing driver side window works . Car drives better than my persona ..40 mpg now..trunk is ok . Shut off happens by smartly pressing button . MFD fully functional stereo and I pod too.Wth.

I’ve read all the threads whew . Funny tho my car cuts off . Trunk opens . 12V ok . I’ve codes but no chk engine light has sometimes.. scanner always inline. Speedo will go out . few stops it’s back on trip meters reset. Then today the vsc abs and one next to it all lit up . But nothings wrong car perfect.. 46 mpg . Drive it like stolen daily.. never issue 10 years

Thank you! But I just read this too late (2023.12.18). Out of warranty now. Symptoms still happen from time to time.

 

Texas Hybrid Batteries can help if you can DIY the remove and replace. This is the best way forward for this problem now.

 

Just hold the button down it'll turn off when you open the door if you don't have the open door icon go back and adjust the ground till it comes on yep right there under the headlight on the right side and then go open the door see the icon you'll have a display when you start or ready the car Yes it may be time for the display to have the three capacitors dealt with.
