From my experience as a commercial fisherman/diver since the late sixties I would agree with what Daniel is saying. I have spent a lot of time underwater. I have had many encounters with dolphins, whales, manta rays, monk seals, sharks, eels, etc. while diving and I have seen no evidence of dolphins being aggressive toward me ever. I have taken my daughter and her friends plus many other friends out to swim with them many times. Combine my experience with that of my partners and friends who are divers and between us we pretty much have covered most of the world. Dolphins are not an issue. Ursle, It's probably better you do not have a desire to experience swimming with dolphins since one needs to feel comfortable in the open ocean environment for one's own safety. Having an irrational fear of a dolphin attack would put you at risk of panicking.
