I will be there too. Eric is awesome to work with and I am looking forward to meeting everybody who attends in person. Also, I am eager to hear the seminar speakers and talk with other hybrid owners.
Last year when I went to Illinois I did it over 3 days and stayed at hotels. This year I would like to try the camping thing on the way out to save $$. Will still give myself three days I'm thinking at this point - maybe 4. It would be nice to caravan out as a group.....
I have to bow out of this year's fest. Family obligations are taking me in the other direction - Southern Indiana - that weekend. Someone can run my GoogleVideo from last year on a loop and no one will be the wiser.
No I was the one knitting socks & limping around with a cane after knee surgery. Fiona had to stay home last year, and I swear she pouted for a week. We'll both be there this year.
I was going back and forth but i think my final choice is no...WI is too far of a drive and even with a Prius, gas hurts
Thanks for at least considering it. Keep your eyes peeled for the West coast event announcement in the future.
With all those hot young WI girls eyeing me instead of you I knew the jealousy would keep you away...maybe you can find some cuties in Southern Indiana
wi girls got it going on! ... you sure they weren't staring at "that weird dude over there by the blue prius"? h34r:
Talking about WI chicks.... WI is famous for its cheese. Cheese comes from milk, milk comes from ___________. (Hint: Same place meat comes from). Besides, you're too grumpy to be sexy. ZC1 (Somebody from WI is going to send me hate mail)
Anybody from Oregon or Washington interested in going? It's a long drive, but if the driving could be shared...
 but i think evan is the one that needs the ego boost right about now, since i apparently smacked him down. old man? dramatic at all? i know my comment wasn't *that* devastating.
Bill K from Washington is coming out to HF 2008, but I think he is flying, and not driving this year. I'll check and let you know. He's in Kennewick, so you'd still have part of the drive by yourself. Hmm.. two guys named Bill in a car, driving across the country... there's got to be some kind of "punny" joke there.
I was going up to Madison that weekend to do some bike riding with my sister. Her plans changed so I just registered for HF. Rod
