Given there are colour codes this story from them is simply implausible. If there was a "US version" of SRM, Toyota wouldn't have given it the same colour code - end of story. And yes - always hard to tell from photos but clearly the match is waaaaaay better this time... I honestly can't see any discrepancy now.
Thanks everyone!! I parked in the sunlight this morning when I got to work and looked at it really good. I am very pleased and there is virtually no discrepancy other than just the difference between paint on plastic and paint on metal. I didn't believe them on that story.. it really just doesn't make sense. I knew I had missed my C but didn't realize how much until I was driving to work this morning, enjoying the hands free, my Pandora, and my sunroof. Plus waving at the gas stations again as I go by is nice too!! Thanks for all the support you all gave and I hope this was a learning experience for all of us. I feel like that is exactly what this forum should be- a way to share not only our cool cars but also to share information so that we are better informed/better car owners!
