    With the help of a little bit of fuel points, my wife filled up our van for under $1.00 a gallon. That was the first time since high school (lot's of years ago).

    The "benefit" of having teens in the house to necessitate spending a lot on groceries... Not to mention some 4x fuel rewards on gift cards ;)

    I guess if you can afford two grand for a dual master apartment /condo rental around here;
    Carlyle Apartments For Rent in Irvine, California - ForRent.com
    then $3.49/gallon gas is a drop in the bucket.

    $1.179/litre, down from $1.229 a week or two ago. Using today's exchange rate, it's $3.199/gal equivalent. Wow, we're cheaper than California?!?

    If only our Lexus Hybrid was a plugin ... Oh wait no one's knocking on their door to build one. I guess folks are only knocking on Hyundai's door -

    I think I know what bisco needs for Christmas - no gas necessary ;

    I was using regular unleaded for my Prius, so I think 87?

    Since I drive a Chevy Volt now, I haven't really paid attention to gas prices, other than they're dropping for now. Only filled it up twice since I bought it back in September; once when I got back from the dealership, and then once again right before Thanksgiving. Both times the Volt still had gas, but I wanted to top it off.

    Been burning a little gas every now and then due to colder temps, but still using way less gas than with the Prius, like maybe a quarter of a gallon or less a day. If I don't need the heat, I can still barely make my 38 mile commute on electric. But I don't like freezing either.

    Thanks, this can only happen in calif. Always trying to milk the consumer.

    I decided to just gas up and top off my tank. It was only 3 gallons.

    I guess I am use driving my previous car with bigger tanks and spending the $$$.
