    HEY SO CAL FOLKS !!!

    It was GREAT meeting all of you that afternoon !!!

    We had a SUCCESSFUL turnout for our First 2013 Meet !!!

    Many thanks to those that came from from all over to be with us that afternoon despite weather conditions.

    There were so many Familiar and New Faces ... And so many Amazing Prii on site too with all the amazing Mods to see !!!

    Lunch at Coconut Bay was superb, the owner of the restaurant (who also owns a Prius) had seen us out front and is now very much interested in modifying his Prius !!!

    I didn't get to take too many as I was having a great time socializing ...

    There was a discuss at lunch yesterday regarding turbo charging the Prius engine, as turbo technology have come a long way. With a low boost system we still can use regular unleaded gas and obtain a much higher output per liter. Just today I saw the technical spec. on the new VW Jetta hybrid which comes with a turbo charged engine, the numbers all look very good. Jetta Turbo Hybrid - Volkswagen of America

    I agree that would be a nice addition. Toyota seems to be hush about the Gen 4. The Rumor Mill says 75 MPG, All Wheel Drive option for our snow belt friends, PIP with Extended Range and Wireless Charging Option, and a Sportier look. We will know more in 2015.
