i am going to tint my blue magnetism soon, and going back and forth between dark charcoal looking tint like formula 1 pinnacle OR slightly more mirror looking tint like huper optik.
i feel like the mirror look on the blue will look better.

No problem, lol. And its quite easy to photshop that really lol, this is just a quick 2 min photoshop lol. And yea, if the white went down a little further on the pillar, it could have looked ahlrigt. But since the panel gap is where i ended the white, i dont think it looks that great with the white... I do like the white side mirror mixed with the blue tho. If i were to add white to the prius, id make the mirrors white, the door handles white and some part on the front bumper white.

 

What do you think if I just made the center roof panel white and left the pillars/rain gutter edges blue...Then do white mirrors.

 

I really like this, i also really liked the door handles in white

sorry, i'll start talking about wheels. with the white roof the white wheels would be killer.
my guess is with the minimal to zero brake dust on prius prime, white will hold up very nicely.
problem is weight... rims are 22.5lb (17") 24.5lb (18")
there was a line of thought regarding the roof wrap in white
form and function... a japanese aesthetic.
apropos for a ricer, which a tricked out PRIME really is !!!
some other toyotas have white roofs too. FJ is iconic.

 

Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 w 48 mm offset 225/45 R17 yokohama wheels and tires. From the shipping weight on the tires and wheels one package is about 38 lbs. I think stock is around 33 lbs to 38 lbs also. Not 100% sure. They felt very similar though my OEM wheels had about 27,000 miles on them. So there must have been a lot less tread! OEM size is 195/65 R15 with 40mm offset.

The drive is definitely better and inspires confidence however fuel economy has taken a real hit. Maybe about 10% to 15% decrease in efficiency. Of note though is that I have only driven maybe less than 600 miles so far and I also maybe driving more "spirited" now....

The wheel and tire upgrade looks wise is literally like night and day! And I will be looking into putting coilovers on her soon to help with the fuel economy!

Edit: I forgot to add. OEM overall tire diameters were 25" and my new tires are at 24.97 inches or so. So they are very close to stock tire sizes.

It was hard to get a black limited. I like white too, but the black came in first.

Its my first plugin Prius. Amazing car.

 

I want the black mirrors caps to that model and some trim pieces! If only they had a Prius SoCal meetup lol
