I took a few friends out for a ride, today.

They all commented on how nice the Titanium knob is.

It never flakes or scratches like cheap vacuum deposited chrome on plastic.

It doesn't scratch easily, and it can be re-polished.

Expensive material, difficult and time consuming to make, but it's the one that I'm keeping.

I'd love to get the Stage 10 ESS shifter.

Yes. The wife also didn't care for the stock faux mechanical shifter.

I went with the Stage 10 flat shifter awhile ago. Unexpected bonus: the HV/EV, ECO and POWER buttons now fall easily to hand because they are constantly visible, whereas with a mechanical shifter they were visually "around the corner". As a result, I now constantly use two and often all three, while before with the stick shifter I rarely did.

I bought a round wooden ball at a craft store for my shift knob. They are actually used for making doll heads , and they already have a hole drilled so you can twist it onto your stick. I stained mine to give it a classy look. Only downside is you lose the shift pattern, but you still have it on the dash.
