KidA, I just purchased my Prius; obviously no snow experience yet. However, I sold a Dodge Durango that got around 14 MPG and I thought it was horrible mileage. I liked the Durango, it was just too expensive to feed. Mileage was one of the reasons I decided to get rid of the Durango and get the Prius. What I've seen here and heard from a friend who has a Prius is that if I put winter tires on it, I shouldn't have any problems here in Denver. --TK
