Should I buy the mud flaps? Just added the side moldings and rear bumper protector

    I got the more expensive kind, (but I got them from eBay.) Can't really tell if they are better. From the pictures I've seen the only difference may be slightly better hardware...

    Wow!!!!!!! It looks like snow got packed into the pocket at the bottom of the mudguard! And I thought there was global warming!!!!! Thanks for reposting the picture. I too couldn't see the first one.

    I think I need to go drive my gas guzzler some to produce more heat.....

    jzchen that was actual the first winter (09-10). I do have even more dirty, recent photos somewhere. This winter has actually been even colder -15F yesterday but a lot more dry. Just a could of inches of snow on the ground. So the prius is relatively clean at the moment.

    Yes, that is a problem with the euro flaps, they hold a lot of snow... so much so that when going over a speed bump they bottom out.

    The cold makes for some interesting artwork... below is a shot of our deck railing coated with frost from out direct-vent furnace (outlet near the deck).
