Should I buy an 05 instead of waiting for an 06?

    take it from one who has (and still does) experienced this. learning your Prius is a labour of love. it will be one of the most enjoyable, rewarding, and spiritual (yea...im getting emotional :) ) things you have done.

    i know this is saying a lot about an inanimate object, but soon you will animate the car in your own mind. it will be unavoidable. you will become hooked. soon your mileage will improve. its winter time and you are a newbie... your mileage will be low. but come spring, with a little mileage under your belt, you will get your first 50 mpg tank and then you will starting secumbing to the effects of Priusbala on your way to Priusxsty.

    WHEWW.... have to go for a drive. :rolleyes:

    Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one around who is going to fall in love with their car :unsure:

    That smartkey thingie is a GREAT thing! LOVE it. NOBODY should get a Prius without it in my opinion.

    Now I'm just trying to figure out a way to change the sexy womans voice to a hunky sounding mans voice so we can chat with each other :p

    SO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT BUYING A PRIUS YOU WON'T BE SORRY! AND GET THE SMART KEY!!!

    Hey, I gotta work on my business to make some money to pay off what I had to stick on my Credit card temporally.

    Plus I need seat cushions for my car. And then who knows what else. :rolleyes:

    Right now my mind is ONLY on making some money!! :unsure:

    Well an unexpected window opened and if everything goes right, I may get one in about a week or so...... it will be for my wife.... so now we are getting two!!!! Ouch!.. that will hurt the pocketbook!

    We were just toying with the idea and not really serious, but then one just fell in our laps that was the color "silver pine mica" and package #8 that she wanted... so we went ahead and got it!.... if everything goes right, it will arrive at the port on the 13th and we will get it a few days after that......

    I'm still waiting on mine.... :(

    Tracy - off subject - does your nav screen go to night mode when you flip on the lights? having any problem with that? sumtin's wrong with mine. just curious...

    If I remember right, I read you can't have your inside dimmer lights "all the way up".. turn them down one click and the night mode will work....
    there is a thread about that somewhere around here.

    Its on the boat.. should arrive the 13th at port, then they have to clean it up.. remove all the wrapping stuff and the coatings they spray on for sea travel... So I guess it gets here when it gets here...

    Are you having a blast yet?.. Is it everything you have hoped for?

    It will take you a few weeks to months to really figure out what you have!..

    Its nice to get something that you can grow into!.... rather than knowing everything you have the first day... its all downhill after that... the thrill is gone!..

    But from what I'm reading the thrill just keeps coming with the prius over and over!.... quite a love affair eh?
