Server Migration 2023 Updates

Looks like they raised some bucks through go fund me but have not reached agreement with what appears to be an uninterested Sapporo.

 

Seems like a week is a lot longer in Danniland.

 

Any update @Danny ?

This upgrade was started more than 40 days ago and server latency issues continue to escalate.

 

The Notorious BUG strikes again. When will that virus leave us alone?

 

It's not a bug... It's just a 20 year old website that the owner doesn't have time to deal with... He knows there are plenty of us who want to help, but he has a reputation for not replying to anyone ever, not even the moderator, unless the moderator specifically says in the subject heading that the site is no longer online. And even that level of responce is not likely during these last days of our community.

It's really sad that such a great community has numerous people with money in hand to do everything to keep PriusChat alive and we're all entirely ignored. Maybe once things go from worse to non-existent things will change for the better?

But in all my many conversations with people who have tried to reach out to him, he has never once considered any of us worthy of a reply no matter how much money people want to give him.

It looked to me like the bug in #43 was an actual bug.

I've had it a couple times, felt real enough.

 

i hope danny isn't down for the count, the bug has a way of doing that

 

Yea... I looked into that... Seems like he made it through covid ok... Can't find any information to the contrary. But again if someone wants to dig into it further? I mean we're coming up on two months since this thread was started.

 

if only there was a way for someone to look into it. maybe a check of other social media? i don't do anything else.

Haha, COVID is the Notorious BUG. I've had friends and relatives nearly die from it and one relative I suspect may have been killed by it.

Can the bug have different symptoms when compared to the 1st or 2nd time? Better ½ has long symptoms from her original hit .... but not latter versions.

@Danny you probably noticed the 12 hour downtime of the PriusChat server. Would have been a good opportunity to look into the month long posting bug too?

 

I was hoping that was the migration, but everything is the same today, SNAFU
