Seat Squeak Help

Found the TSB so I've attached it. Anyone here get this fixed under warranty? I'd be interested in knowing what the cost of these updated parts would be.

 

Has anyone considered just going in there with some spray silicone lube? With the straw thingy attached, you can direct the spray pretty tight without getting it all over the place. Might take several shots if you don't know the spot, but it is the first thing I would think about doing.
