My winter mpg in maine for Dec, Jan, Feb (these have been my lowest 3 months for MPG) from 12/2004 to 2/2006 has averaged 46 MPG. With regard to snow driving, I ski almost every weekend during the winter and I do not own a 4WD car. As far as I am concerned the more snow the better, I put snow tires on the car (Dunlop Graspic DS-2) in November and take them off in April, my drive to Sugarloaf USA is about 2 hours one way and I have never had any problem with winter driving in the Prius. if you are truly being 'devastated' by fuel prices, you should seriously take stock of your financial situation as a whole, and perhaps, give up automobile ownership altogether. if you cant afford gas, you cant afford a car...and also try cutting back on things a frugal family really doesnt need, like HBO III, bottled water, broadband internet etc. good luck !
So has anyone noticed a difference in the 2006 VSC programming from that of previous years? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mystery Squid @ Apr 22 2006, 03:24 PM) </div>
