There are numerous other information channels that are not "social media".

Still no sign of COVID-19 slowing in the U.S. At best, we can say that the rate of increase is lower in some states (see WA) than others (see NY). I've also added FL and MI to the list. I feel FL, with its elderly population, is going to get hit hard (like Italy) so it may be an indicator of how bad it will get. MI is a good example of how our testing is still failing to detect a huge number of cases (the positive cases jumped from double digit to triple digit increases overnight). I want to try to get representative states from each area of the country, so I might add or change the states I'm tracking in future updates.

Mr. Google says that the average orange has about 100mg of C. Most supplements are 1000mg. The IV doses used in WuHon start at 10,000mg. IV delivers at least 10X (some say 100X) the oral route. So that would be about 1000 oranges per day to equal the IV route. But don't let me stop you from eating oranges - one a day does prevent scurvy. Probably also insulates you a bit from Covid.

I've upped my daily rate from 1000 mg to 3000 mg:).

I know there is no upper bound, just trying to increase and improve my chances if the chance encounter occurs(y).

What are you taking? Most I have found have a lot of extra stuff you do not need to increase as much.

I had a former co-worker who firmly believed in vitamin C as the cure for all ills;).

He went to the extreme with IV vitamin C when he felt ill:).

    But the stuff works(y).

It's not exciting as you don't invent new wheels or work on something ground breaking:cool:.

Not saying it isn't warranted, just the reality of the situation:whistle:.

The problem with the pill form is this: anything more than about 200 mg is eliminated rapidly by the kidneys. Liposomal vitamin C is more efficient for a few reasons: 1. 100% is absorbed into your bloodstream through the portal vein. 2. It is encapsulated until used, stored in body cavities, and does not get eliminated by the kidneys. I read somewhere that the half-life can be around 100 times. 3. Phagocytes basically eat the liposomes and load up on vitamin C. Phagocytes are the exact cells that attack viruses, bacteria, and cancer cells, and kill them using vitamin C. So they transport the vitamin C to sick areas of the body. Vitamin C is converted by the immune system into hydrogen peroxide when needed using an iron catalyst.

Been making it and drinking it for years. It does work wonderfully and quickly.

OTC alpha lipoic acid also has antiviral properties. The antiviral properties probably come from ALA boosting all other antioxidants including vitamin C.

Be careful with the dose though. Some people have side effects from it chelating heavy metals from the body. If you want to learn more about its chelating properties look up the Andy Cutler protocol
