Same here in central Ohio. From what I've seen, it's become more of a flu and not all that severe anymore unless you have poor health to begin with. But it could be different in other places.

My wife has been helping her mother who's in a nursing home and just started hospice today. She's been testing every morning. Negative every time and no symptoms. And I don't even have a clue where my covid came from. Apparently I got it on the drive up here from FL, which was an unusually long and tiring trip.

Vaccinated in September with the latest, so far, no problems. With the local hospital occupancy, +90% ICU and 85% beds, I put a mask on in the parking lot before going into COSTCO. A COVID denier area, one couple gave me 'a look' as I jointed the 'right side of the bell curve' patrons. Curious, many maskers are oriental, minorities, and high IQ(*).

LOL! My Bolt so far has never been to a WaWa. But it could have been any number of the charging handles along the way. Or even before I left home.

Having seldom traveled to the east coast, had never heard of wawa. Learn something new today.

was in my first one last year in orlando, looking for a newspaper, it was disappointing to me, but very busy with a lot of happy looking customers, and 8 or 10 tesla stations in the parking lot.

It's a convenience store. Not sure what more you'd expect. A sub shop is likely better, but Wawa sub quality is consistant. I was pleasantly surprised by their new pizzas.

Thought they did up here. Not that it is something I've looked for.

Supermarkets are the only place I've noticed newspapers for sale.

Your favorite reporter from Asia is climbing out after 4 bad days with a respiratory virus. It is more likely 'seasonal flu' than COVID or RSV because it has been sinus not lung focused.

I have not been notably sick for years, possibly because of doing things the right way to limit exposure. Got sloppy I guess.

Not known to me earlier that annual flu vaccines are available in China. But a fella has since told me that they are if one says the right words in hospital. So that's my plan for late 2024, because this was bad.

    Get completely well!
Our 40's ish Pastor just finished up with the 'B' variety of influenza. He said it really took him out. I can imagine what it would be like for someone that had a couple decades or more under the belt.

I committed to my Doctor I would get the RSV vaccine within the next week.

Is this shot a big deal or nothing to it as far as aftereffects the next day?

Depending on one's particular health coverage, it can be a big deal to the pocketbook.
