San Diego Prius Club??

No, I don't have to see it. I doubt that iJDMToys sent you the wrong stuff. For me, I thought I had extras because I forgot about the vanity lights above the sun visors. The cargo area light (on the driver-side wall) is what they call a "festoon" bulb. It can be a little finicky to work with. IMO, that festoon cargo light is not one of Toyota's proudest engineering achievements. In addition to that, the iJDMToys stuff is an about-right fit, and you might need to be creative in getting the little rectangular panel to sit right.

 

The trunk light iJDMtoys sent me was larger than the original bulb. I had to bend the 2 metal clips that attach to it to make it wider. The bulb moves when I slide the switch to turn it on, but it's never popped out on me.

OK, so i did my very best to bend "sprung" metal (NOT) and got it in there... "that's what she said" ... and managed to get everything back together again. Yay me !!

Hey there! That list was just Dylan and I (mostly him ) trying to figure out how many of us are in San Diego. It was just based off searching and the regulars we see in the modding thread, so don't feel like we excluded you for some reason.

We haven't planned an actual meet up yet, but seems like we're getting closer. I think we should use this thread to figure out a date.

I generated that list with some "creative" Google searching. To my knowledge there is no real mechanism for searching out members by geographic region.

I suggest we start a monthly meetup, even if only two or three of us show up. I think we can draw in more people when they start seeing the pictures and stories about how much fun we're having checking out Prii and talking shop.

I'm in for Saturday at Liberty Station.

 

I won't be available until the afternoon this Saturday--probably around 4ish. I'm open all day next Saturday if that works too.

LOL, just realized PriusChat has an event in Anaheim the same day. Gaspeed and some others are attending.

 

Not an ideal day. Bump to Sunday, or proceed anyway?
As for myself, I'm not planning to make the trek to Anaheim.

I wanted to share, as excited as i am to be there, i have an expected airport pickup for some dear friends around 10 ~ 10:30 on Sun. No matter what, AS SOON AS possible I will be there, but it may not be until after 11:30am, depending on how quickly they get their luggage. This really bums me out.

 

if i don't go to Anaheim (Saturday) i might bring the fam and meet up with ya'll
