I test drove one yesterday and was very impressed. It would have came home with me if I didn't have 7 more months on my Camry lease. 20170311_162656.jpg 20170312_072012.jpg

The trunk was small but not a lot smaller than my hycam.

My Camry is a 2015. The Sonata does have the battery where the spare tire is on the Camry.

Try the folding down the rear seats?

What I recall of photos, had that seeming functional. However, last time I checked the specs page at Hyundai's website, it appeared that they were only available on the higher trim.

There was no trunk pass through on the car I drove. They had a small one on the regular hybrid.

I would probably get another Camry if they sold a phev version. Camry prime has a nice ring to it.

Camry Prime. Wouldn't that be a, "Crime"?

    It's a crime they aren't building them.
One thing I liked in the Hyundai is the ice would turn off if you push the ev button a couple seconds after I set it to hv mode. Try that in a Toyota and it will just beep at you and keep running until it's done the full warm up.

i would too, but couldn't afford to lose any trunk space. we're stuffed to the gills when we head for florida.
10 miles of ev would cover 75% of my wife's driving.

The next gen Camry Hybrid (2018) should have a regularly sized trunk now that the battery sits under the rear seats.

that would be fabulous. and a full pass through would be a nice addition.
