Not 100% understanding your question. Gen III is using H11 for low beam and fog light.

As long as you replace it with the same type of bulb.

Maybe this will help. There are adapters that go between the ballast and the harness to make the car's computer operate the HID lamps properly.

I got the same bulb and I like it so far. But Please don't expect it is completely 100% orange free. In most angles, you don't see the orange surface. But from time to time when I walked by I do see some orange here and there probably from the reflectors...

I know this isn't really an LED thread, but my question involves changing the four marker lights (clear and amber over the headlights). I've got the LED replacements and I was able to change the clear marker light on the driver's side. The others though, I simply can't get to. Besides having next to no mechanical aptitude, I recently sliced my left thumb badly and have a hard time doing any work with that hand (I'm left handed). If I take the LEDs to the dealer, what are the odds they will replace the bulbs for me? Alternately, is there anyone in the Phoenix are willing to help :)

I'm not in Phoenix area to help you. :(
Replacing Clear maker light (top of low beam) on passenger side is pretty easy as well, you just need to remove one 10mm screw and lift of the hose and white plastic thing (I believe radiator fluid?)

Now the side markers would be abit more difficult.
I would say, if you can't do it yourself, take it to any near by audio / car modification shops. They would do it for you and for less price.
    good luck

That's what I had read about the passenger side clear marker - which is the only reason I attempted it myself. But I couldn't get the screw undone and the metal flange it was screwed into was bending during my attempts, so I didn't want to try too hard. Also, the white plastic bucket (coolant, I think) is easily unsnapped from the top, but the bottom of it seems connected to a hose that goes down into the engine somewhere and doesn't let the thing move too much. And there is also what looks like an air intake tube that is in my way. That's screwed in place with another screw in a tight area. I don't have a screwdriver short enough to unscrew that one.

Or maybe my hands are just too big :)

I did find the amber side marker on the driver's side, but I can't get any leverage on it to remove it with my sore thumb.

Thanks for the tips about an audio shop!

RAZO brand from Jap, specialize in after market light buld. Anyway the lights I got from RAZO have no problem fitting into the back up light socket, but when I try to put it into the turn signal socket it will not fit in. I was just wondering if you have trouble fitting yours ( the philips brand). Thank you.

I have question about Parking light. I'm planning to install Red led (Red Prius) and I know it's illegal to have red, blue on the front. Question is: Is the light only turn on when in P position and turn off during reverse or drive? Also, is the light turn on when brake (hopefully not)? If so then I guess it will be ok then??

The parking lights are above the headlights. The are illuminated when the headlights are on, and when the headlight switch is in the first position.

There's a good reason why it's illegal to have red lights on the front of the car--it's a safety hazard. When you see red lights you assume it's the back of the car.

Re: PIAA ... doesn't know ... lumen output of 15211's

Below is my inquiry to PIAA, and their reply, on the output in lumens of the PIAA 15211 bulbs which, among other uses, can fit the halogen - equipped Prius low beams. They aren't saying.

Does anyone here on the site know what the lumen output of the PIAA 15211 bulbs (which advertise that they yield 55W --> 110W) is so they can be compared with other H11 bulbs?

I do not have that at this time because of the standard is not there for the lumens measurement.

    Subject: PIAA 15211 light bulbs

Several of us on an online car forum are discussing use of PIAA 15211 bulbs. Can you please tell us what a 15211 bulb's output is in lumens?

    Thank you.

I'm sorry if this has been answered already, but I've read and read and not found it yet (it's late). Are there amber LED's available for the front/rear turn signals and red LED's for the rear brake lights? If there are, what are they(where to find) and are they easy to install?

The brake lights are LEDs. Indicators are available but require a load resistor to stop them from blinking faster (because LEDs use less power so the car thinks that a bulb is out and will blink faster)

Thank you. Does anyone sell these LED signals with built in load resistors?
