Replaced ABS Module, brake not touching button that deactivates break lights

    I am understanding you to say that the invalid mode is used to replace old fluid (flush the system) but is not used to bleed the brakes. If that is the case, I do not need to put my car into invalid mode, which I cannot do anyway.
    Thinking back, I bled the rear brakes correctly, but I bled the right side front before the left side front. But, that does not matter since I did not use a scanner tool. The stroke simulator has never been bled since replacing the booster pump and the master cylinder..
    There are youtubes that bleed brakes without a scanner tool, especially on 2nd generation. I ignore those because perhaps 3rd gen cars do not work the same.
    In Virginia, my car will pass inspection if the VSC light is on. But the brake light cannot be on. I am not sure about the ABS light. But I want regenerative braking, so, must all lights be out?
    The Toyota dealer wants $165 an hour to do the process of bleeding brakes, ABS air bleed, linear offset, stroke simulator, etc.
    I will try again to get T S to work. I have some new ideas.

    Ignoring those is the right call. It's not just that gen 3 is different; they're not even right for gen 2.

    I sincerely thank all of you for your help.
    I finally got my free software loaded and working. I watched videos of setting up the software and was forced remember and to concentrate.
    I was able to see all current codes.
    I am so HAPPY!!!!
    Next, I will jack up the car and do the brakes.
