AFAIK Toyota doesn’t say “lifetime”; they just don’t say anything.

So is it 4 bottles for the transmission and 4 for the trans axle?

No, you're still confused. 3.6 quarts for the entire transaxle, which includes the transmission. There's only one fill opening and one drain opening for the entire transaxle.

You'll "need" 4, 1 qt bottle's to fill the transmission.
Remove the filler plug first, then the drain plug.
It will drain in just a few seconds. Then install the drain plug.
It's easier to get plastic tubing and run it from the top of the engine compartment
down to the filler plug. Make sure you are on jack stands and the car is level.
Slowly pour 3.5qts down the tube. Crawl under the car and remove the tube.
If fluid drains out, install the filler bolt. If not add a "little" more fluid and repeat.
When fluid runs out the filler hole, install the filler bolt.
    Put everything away, you're finished.

Ok. Thanks for clarifying. I thought I had seen in a video where it two separate drain and refills.
I don't have jack stands. Just a set of ramps. I'll ask around. Thanks!

I did it with just 2 jack stands. Rear was on the ground. Since car wasn't level I got 3qts in. I took it to a shop for them to put the last little bit in. My driveway was slightly slanted too.

Feeding the tube from the top was easiest. But if it's just you working on it that could make a mess. Be sure to have a drain pan ready. Or get another person to help out.

Ramps and two jack stands. You REALLY need it level. You left about a quart in it.
I drive the Prius up the ramps, then I jack up the rear and lower onto the jack stands.

But it's better than nothing. (y)

Yeah I know, which is why I took it to a shop after. I just needed it to be somewhat drivable.
