    Thanks and I agree. First read just appeared you were going the other way with it. Now if we can just get those fuel efficient diesels over here.

    Not a dying breed in Hawaii, here in the Island's Toyota Tacoma's are the most popular and prevalent pickup on the road from my observations. Mini trucks from other manufacturers are quite popular also Nissan's, Ford's, Chevy S-10's, older Toyota's.

    Its doing much better than the tundra selling 12,547 versus 8594 last month. If they pulled the tacoma, the San Antonio truck plant would lose a great deal of money making the tundra. The Tacoma is much bigger than the outgoing ranger.

    I do miss my old '84 4 x 4 4 banger Toyota. Got 197k miles on it before I had to send it to the scrap yard.

    The Colorado are built in Shreveport, LA. I borrowed a friend's to do a Home Depot run one time. Quite a crappy vehicle.
