At 120k plugs are due for replacement. Seems like a cheap way to try to get where you want to be.

Well, finally had a chance to clean the corrosion and ended up finding… acid buildup? Is this a really bad sign? About the same on both sides. Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

This is normal. Remove the bus bars and you'll see more stuff that needs to be cleaned off

Hey @Scott2011 thanks for the pic. Another post last week with a guy asking if he could hook up a home spun power supply to the HV pack "without having to disassemble the car". I was asking myself, geez what di you want to be able to do, plug your power supply into the cigarette lighter socket? Long story short I recommended he not try to use a home spun charging hookup with what seemed to me to be way to little understanding of how to even hook up the power supply leads, to be anywhere near safe enough to give further instructions for a simple recharge.
Looks to me like you have done some homework already, and getting the info you need to take your repair to a higher level. You might want to get some shots of the acid buildup too, if you have the chance. It can't hurt having them archived.

I have a gen 3 prius 2010 that Dr prius say i have falling 5 modules. is it posible to recondition without full dismantle ? only ataching harnes and prolonger ? It is two expensive a ful oem bat, more than car itself. Even modules at minimum 80 Euro per modules + labor and time, plus i dont have space or a second car, it makes thing worse. Actual consumtion is about 7 litres at 100 km, wich is a litle high from what acihieve other. I am not constrained of consumtion (i have GPL on it) but i am concerned for motor to not shortening life span. thanks for any valuable input for my situation.

Try to find another battery... and change individual cells... u have to take them out.
Prolong system will do nothing for a bad traction battery

Prolong system will do nothing for a bad module but will restore capacity in a weak module.

Guess you had better results than the prolong system I had... had the charger and dis-charger...........
Maybe use it to (prolong a good set of batteries)..... but I would never recomend purchasing to fix a weak old battery.
