    Most foglights are designed this way. - wide angle beam pattern. Infact, the halogen projector beam pattern of the prius was designed this way too - has the bowing effect and not the sharp horrizontal cutoff. Now I realized why toyota designed their projectors this way - better visibility on your sides but does not blind incoming traffic.
