Rattles in dash

It's a new speaker alright. It took a few days longer to get it as it was out of stock at the Central Atlantic Toyota Distributor.

As far as being a recall, I think that only applies to safety related items.
But a technical service bulletin on the other hand...

 

No rattle anymore

My car was the one Rick was driving and although I remember a few rattles at the beginning it seems as if everything settled in after a short period of time. The funny thing is that I was getting an oil change and a service update on Tuesday at Miller in Culver City, CA and the woman in front of me was complaining of the rattle. The service rep was clueless so I told her to post it here. Both she and the service rep were excited to hear about this site. I was wondering if she was the original poster but it doesn't appear so. Every time I take the car in I end up giving Prius tips. Last time there was a women who didn't know why her phone wouldn't work - of course she didn't have a bluetooth enabled phone!
