There will be variety of capacity (mAh) to choose, most people just want to repair the battery in a budget therefore I foreseen the base model being the best seller :)

Any timeline yet for when you'll know pricing and also when we'll be able buy?

Also any plans for a waiting list that requires a relatively small deposit?

    Congratulations for the great work.

Sorry if the doubts seem silly or if they have already been answered.

    - Just replacing NiMH batteries with LifePO4 batteries, would there be any improvement in MPG?

    - How much would this improvement be compared to NiMH, using packs of the same capacity?

    - Is it possible to increase the capacity of the LifePO4 pack to increase the MPG?

I know I'm stupid, but I didn't know it was that much :D

I reread the texts again and did not find these answers objective - apparently the data has not yet been released. (n)

If any charitable soul knows and wants to share, I appreciate that.;)

Many brand-new companies will offer a 10 year warranty, but if a company's just a start up, you don't know if they're even going to be around .... even next summer. That said, what kind of warranty is expected.
I don't know that this hopeful product vendor's statemenrs are loaded, so much as they're conclusary. No data is given in support of the several statements.
    For example ;
how are voltages optimized without the ability to monitor / control each individual cells' charge-discharge? How can a traction pack be 'optimized' to always run cool (or warm for that matter as cells are more efficient once they're above 80°f) when attraction packs thermal management is in charge of that Duty?
    Also -
Is this product a PC /Danny approved advertisement? to be purchased through the PC store? For example, some vendors of prius products (like the "extend my seat" brackets or the dice Electronics) provide through the PC store so that the website receives funds so that the website can be sustained. The devil is in the details.

Random people come here and post these new aftermarket lIthium battery replacement stuff from time to time and never follow up or even throw a ball park price of service and/or product to be delivered. It's like the human jetpack.

Jacktheripper is one of the good guys.
Made an app that is pretty darn useful.
Definitely a guy who is really into batteries.
Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

    Hello Diego,

The selected LifePO4 cell is rated at max 300+Amp peak power compare to the NiMH at around 100+Amp, more burst capability translate to more EV range and less engine kick-in, also 98% charge efficiency from Lithium cell means more kinetic energy from braking actually store back into the battery instead of dissipating in heat like the NiMH @75% efficiency.

However increase MPG is only one of the benefit. I believe most people will be benefit more from the lower cost as it is super easy to put together compare to the Panasonic blade that require billion dollars machinery to assemble the batteries.

A bigger capacity version will also be available for more $$$, but it's just going to last longer and not necessary deliver better MPG due to the fact that the max capacity is limited by the software in the ECU, this is still being tested right now and I will share more data when I have it. Too bad the factory in China finally recover from the shutdown, delay is inevitable :(

Exciting stuff! Thanks for doing this for the hybrid community. I’m very excited to see where this goes, and hopefully one day I can buy a battery from you!

I have a Ford C-Max hybrid with a lithium ion hybrid battery and it’s been great. Now at 165k still works perfectly! I know your chemistry is different, but still, maybe I can swap my 2004 Prius battery for one of these one day.

keep up the fantastic work, stay healthy, and hopefully this virus doesn’t slow down your progress too much.

    Thanks Aaron,
Looks like the factory in China has fully recovered and producing the latest batch as we speak, took them 3 months to get back to their feet, hopefully we will be the same in the US.
