Quick - What's your MPG read right now?

48.7, 17 miles, just filled up.

 

Was getting 42.9 last 400 miles before fillup, then my husband put in a fuel additive Sunday night and now I am getting 54.2. Since fillup and additive, I have driven over 100 miles at 54.2. Amazing stuff.

 

58.2 mpg... Just filled up this morning ($2.39 per gallon!) and drove to work and back, 38 mile round trip in mostly stop and go traffic using eco mode. Average speed was under 40 mph and fortunately the lights are somewhat synchronized!

 

What additive did he use?

 

Just turned 75k, I'm at 49.6 mpg (consistent value).

 

Current MID reading is 65.3 mpg - 400 miles on this tank.

Last tank was 63.5

Last 3 months have averaged 64 or so (tanks, not dash display)

Have been using the following rule proposed here at PC for P&G up to 41 MPH:

0.5-1.1 x MPG = speed for pulses
Pulses must accelerate the car by at least 1MPH per sec; if not, begin gliding
Aim for maximum glide%

Seems to work for me......

mostly city/suburban driving. tires at 40 psi. warmer weather seems to have increased mpg even with some AC use. i do slow starts (when traffic permits) and keep highway speed below 65 mph.

I could never get 60 mpg consistently

 

58.5 this morning... I think I'm starting to get the hang of it...

 

By memory, 52.7 as of last night.

It's a fairly new car (under 2,000 miles), and I haven't even upped the tire pressure yet. I do some modest things to promote higher MPG, but haven't been doing things like controlled pulse & glide. I'm sort of getting a base line for the stock set-up at this point.

450km on half a tank and at 4.8L/100km (which is high, usually we're at 4.6L/100km)

 

Currently 620 km at 3.8l/100km which is about 400 miles at 61.8 mpg. Average over the last 10,000 miles is 53.5 mpg during an entire year.

 

Right now 79 miles/46.1, but last week I did several hundred miles from Portland to Mt. St. Helens to Mt. Rainier at Paradise and back to Portland: 51.5 (with occasional AC usage). What a deal!!

 

right now, I'm at 66.1mpg and 340 miles into my current tank... Prius likes hot-n-humid SC summers, methinks...

 

58.5mpg after about 400 miles. In my defense that's because I only drove about 23 of them. Or to put it another way, that's with it being driven normally for all but 23 miles.

180 miles into this tank, about 80 miles at 58 MPH and 100 at 72 MPH and I'm at 61.5 MPG. Only minor A/C use and a slight tailwind. At the end of the 80 miles at the lower speed, I was around 68 MPG.

 

62.2 mpg for 95.1 miles. i've been off work 2 weeks and just using car to run errands and visit family (local)

lifetime mpg = 51.6 mpg 26,440 miles total (pure interstate long distance highway driving)
