Aren't you worried about a discrimination lawsuit? Can't you just shutdown the company and avoid the whole joke?
Did you know I worked in Silicon Valley during the Dotcom years (and the subsequent Dotcom bust) so I know all about places shutting down and huge layoffs, and I can sympathize?
