IMHO, the DRLs give the car a stronger look. But unfortunately, most people turn their light switch all the way off, and the DRLs aren't being used... Toyota should've switched the off and DRL off positions. The DRLs are a safety feature that should be on, unless at the drive-ins!!!

I placed my mount here, and it's very convenient! I use the tackform universal mount. When it occasionally detaches (once a year?), I rinse the sticky pad in water and reapply! Love this location! uploadfromtaptalk1468594186572.jpeg

I wear polarized lenses (Transitions newest and most $) lenses and I actually can read the HUD display easier with the lenses on.

I don't have an issue with my HUD when I wear my polarized sunglasses. Can't tell the difference really.

No "DRL Off" setting on my car. There are only positions: Auto, driving lights, parking lights. Lights are always on.

At least they have made that safety feature improvement! But if you're feature works like my old cars, the DRLs won't come on the vehicle if the emergency brake is on... Only once you release there brake.

It is on the US market versions of the 2012-2015. Even neighboring Canadians didn't have it.

My Three, without Auto lights, has different markings than Beth's Four. Also, my switch stalk doesn't match any of the illustrations in my owner's manual.

Mine are off when the switch is in the off position. Only auto gives you DRLs. MAYBE???????????

With mine, whenever the hybrid system is started AND THE PARKING BRAKE IS RELEASED ... the DRLs turn on automatically with the headlight switch OFF or AUTO ...".

BUT - the problem is - on mine if you've been driving and stop to wait for someone (or camp overnight!!) and re-engage the Parking Brake with the Hybrid system still on, even in Park, the DRLs remain on. So, you're parked waiting, and the DRLs are shining unless you turn the hybrid system OFF and back on with the Parking Brake engaged.

Yep, need to be able to turn them off. Honda forum was pulling circuit breakers.

Yes - it would be good if re-engaging the Parking Brake turned them off again. Every time you turn the Hybrid system off, it breaks the trip log - which in time won't be a problem, but at this early stage of owning a Prius I'm trying to monitor l/100km against driving behaviour.

For the US,, the lowest position of the headlight switch turns all lights off. The next position is labeled either DRL or AUTO. Something will always be on in the front. If you don't have auto-sensing, the DRLs are on; if you have auto-sensing then either the DRLs or headlights are on, depending on how dark it is.

I got my 2016 Eco two on 06/18/2016 in Miami same day but the dealer only had two prius . It like they don't want people to buy them . With my 2012 Prius when I was going to do the oil change . I was always looking for the Prius in the lot and not even one. Strange!!

I can turn off my DRLs on the turn signal arm.

I'd like to change the lane change signal to 5 clicks from 3 but cannot seem to be able to do that myself.
