You're right,we don't gain a lot of cargo space,it's reallyj just that bit of space the hybrid battery used to take up .
In fact we even lose some space because in gen 3. there is even aditional space under the under-floor tray where you can place an emergency tire ,a blanket or whatever fits in there, but if look at how much better the 4. gen. has become,I guess the loss is worth it !

not sure whats to buy, it has more space, period. Toyota, Danny, Reviewers and our own eyes watching the pics and videos, they dont lie.

I think it might be a bit weird for current Prius owners watching the videos where almost every review says it was a crappy car before and good one now.

As to JDM and AWD, I have no clue at all. I guess it might be safety thing there. Almost everything has AWD option.

I may have missed this tiny detail in all the info;... Turn-signal mirror availability?

I didn't/don't like the white console either.

The guy in the video says Toyota will be offering a cover for those (like him and me) who don't like it but I agree w/him that "they should have gotten that right, in the 1st place" and I don't think anyone should have to pay to buy a cover to hide it if they don't like it.

I wonder if the wire harness is in place for hookup to the light if it can be found for after market purchase/installation. Any ideas?

It might be the shadows but open the image in a new tab and zoom in. To the left of the "black" or "dark grey" area, there's a kink in the chrome bit. I suspect that's where the side indicators are. Can you double check? It's quite subtle.

It's not subtle on the JDM version. 97971_Screen_Shot_2015-12-02_at_2.12.45_AM.png

That's taken on the mirror side. The red one above was taken from the cover side. But yeah it does seem to have different curves at the bottom on the photo you attached.

    Sigh, oh well.

    Tidewater Prius,
Is there any way to consolidate some of these threads into possibly 3-4 threads? Perhaps one on the technology, one on performance, one on interior and exterior design, and a 4th on extraneous side issues.
Every day I search for one where there is current activity. It changes daily.

I was wondering when someone would comment on that lol. Even I was having trouble remember who said what in which thread. I presume Danny is going to create the subforums like we have for the other Prius generations soon.

If you wish, civicdriver06 has a thread 2016 Prius open questions | PriusChat

We're gonna link things as we find them or see them in other threads.

Which reminds me, I gotta add the part about the rear legroom now that netclub and tmacrp have given answers.

thanks so much for the great videos!
I just got my 2016 Prius Four (AT pkg - apparently they don't ship them to NorCal with both AT and CX package... huh?) But i'm find with that.
LOVE THE CAR! Very excited to join the Prius family :)

Thank you again for posting such great and informative videos to help make the decision much easier!

Ummm.. "power mode".... just tried it for the first time tonight... ADDICTIVE!!!!

fyi... i'm getting about 60mpg and that's mostly freeway driving and at California (NorCal) speeds which is 70-80 typically.
