Cool! I love when forums change to listen to members complain about things and then later listen to them say the opposite.

I avoid PC on my iPad just because of that SUPER annoying behavior.

I removed the "Welcome Page" thing they added and will look to remove the rest of the annoyances tomorrow.

Will join date and location be added back under the user name/avatar? That info can be very critical on how one reply's.

On the main forum page: When you collapse a forum, that should be remembered next time you visit - its not.

the "mark forums read" function is no longer available in sub forums, it should be.

You could do with a LOT less cell padding in sub forums.

I'll take a look into the ability to remember a collapsed forum.
Mark Forums Read. Do you mean the link up on the navigation bar? If so, it'll come back.
Can you point out the padding that you're referring to?

Hi Danny. Can the users post count (and possibly likes received) be added back there as well. I find that information is often useful, kind of helps access the likely credibility of a poster.

Just one browser related bug I've found, on my very old version of firefox the post edit function doesn't work properly. When I click "save" at the end of an edit it just hangs indefinitely. If I click cancel and then reload the page I find that the edit was successful however.

I just tested this in my other browser (chrome) and it doesn't have the bug, so presumably it's just related to my very outdated version of firefox.

Other forums I visit remember this. I can't see much use for it without it being remembered.
    Yes, that.

Very important to have this, along with the vehicle type and user's location.

Seems like a very good improvement for me.
Previously, as of a few months ago, I could no longer REPLY or EDIT any posts on my older IE or Firefox, had to use Chrome, but even then I was having trouble doing stable edits on my larger sticky post on Federal and State Incentives. Now I am on a older IE version with no problems.

My one gripe, as Sage noted, FONTS! I guess younger eyes are OK with light gray text on lighter gray background, but I like the black letters where it's important. Some of the dark blue is OK.

I miss some things - home page, Recent Activity (or whatever it was called, I forgot already). profile geographic location of poster

    Good job, Danny!

It will be awhile before I explore a number of features, but I'm fine.

I thought there were a couple of posts earlier that went over-the-board on how the new look sucked. Having been a moderator and admin in the past, I seriously wish these lazy narcissists would get a clue of what Danny and the staff have to do on upgrades...it was a lot longer than a couple of days, but weeks or months of planning, perhaps running in the sandbox. Aside from Danny, everyone else is donating their free time to keep PC running. There are always a few that post a BIG fit if either the look-and-feel, or content does not satisfy them 100% and don't give a damn there are thousands of other members to consider, that running PC takes time and money....would they want to be running PC hearing members behaving like two-year olds?

    Well done on the upgrade.

Is there a way to turn off the video ads? They are going to chew up my bandwidth limits.

I doubt if this will get changed (after all I'd hoped the rectangular avatars would come back eventually but apparently that was to no avail).... and since I gave it a couple days to see if it'd get fixed... I'm sure that nothing will get done regarding this - but it seems now when you post through tapatalk - anybody who's post is referenced now shows my avatar in there referenced post. Just saying..... its really weird and distracting. Just throwing that out there in case there's any possibility it can be remedied

I didn't know our ad provider was going to be playing those ad units. They are gone now. I apologize. Ads keep this site running and I really appreciate those of you who don't use an Adblocker on PriusChat; I want to continue balancing the user experience with the need to create revenue and keep them non-intrusive and relevant.

I have no idea what's causing that, but I'll try to look at it on Tapatalk today.

As far as avatars go, I'm thinking about making the member card area bigger to accommodate more information and bigger avatars.

No, but if the membership goes down as a result of the change, they might get the message.
