Prius side swiped a truck, repairable?

    It looks like it was hit pretty high. I would run some numbers on pats before I made a decision. Then there are the things you didn't think of. The car is now 9 years old and maybe a salvage title. Good luck on your decision.

    All that thing needs is an oil catch can and a PCV valve and it will be fine.

    It may be safe for the driver after repair, but it may never be safe for the front passenger if it's in another accident after being repaired depending on if there's major structural damage or not.

    What is the mileage on the car?

    The 2010's are notorious for burning oil beyond 100K. Also the EGR System will need cleaning. Probably not the best car for your daughter. (n)

    Best bet, it's a parts car. (y)
