Prius Rolls Back When Parked On Incline!

    Yep, even with the parking brake on, when the ICE starts/stops (Especially before it's fully warmed up) you feel the shudder motion. It's a quite apparent fore/aft motion.

    try it and see. You might be right. The park prawl in a Prius is located on the reduction shaft that the chain drives not on the actual PSD unit. There has to be some clearance on the dog's other wise there would be times IE: when hot, that they might not engage. Twenty thousand's clearance multiplied by the number of shafts and gears from it to the wheels equals a fair amout of rotation.
