That pretty scary. With all that weight in the car, your Gen4 still got blown around? We need to hear from some Gen3 Prius owners and hear how their car does in wind.

Thanks for the great report! LOL I don't recall the Prius load capacity, but you must have been right there. And at 85, sounds like Chevy Chase in the vacation movie heading across the desert to Wally World.

I think that's the maximum towing load.

All you need for travel is a pair of hiking shoes, one pair of underware, coffee thermos and a credit card. 4 lbs. max.

This is great information. I make a trip to Utah each year and I've been wondering how it will affect my fuel efficiency. I suppose I won't worry much.

As to #6, I don't have to stop to use the NAV either by voice or manually.

I'll see your 1,200 miles and raise you to 1,400 ... Huntsville AL to/from Stillwater OK. <GRINS>

Excellent highway MPG! Just curious what the other passengers had to say.

My wife offered to drive but when I said,"Not this trip Baby." and she said,"Good, I didn't really want to."

Her dogs said,"gerr woff woff gerr hummme bark woff" which I understand means "pee breaks OK but needed more off leash time and where are the f*ckin squirrels? Can I drive Daddy?"

We probably had just under 250 lbs including my wife's wheelchair. Still we made it OK.

In Mississippi you'd have thought we'd arrived in a spaceship. In Oklahoma, they called it a 'kangaroo' because it was beyond their ability to understand.
