In my personal experience FRAM is junk. Their air filters had noticeably less filter material. When I switched away from FRAM oil filters I noticed the oil looked much cleaner when changing. They may have changed but for me it is not worth the risk.

This also works on my 2019 Prius Prime. You have to get your head right down on the ground, as close to opening between the wheel well and the tire as possible. The view is partially obstructed by suspension components, but you can see enough of the filter to determine if it's a spin-on, or the replaceable paper element type. My car has the spin-on type, fortunately.

Personally i went with another filter altogether. 90915-YZZF1. Same thing as a F2 (now labelled N1 mind you..) but a bit longer, holds about 50ml more oil (meh..) but more importantly for me, has more filtering media/capacity. The only difference is length. Same bypass spring tension, same everything but it holds a bit more oil and it has more filtering material..

EDIT: Fram is junk but their Ultra line is excellent.
