-Msrp- Is 34,604 (33,100 base +395 Special color + 224 Carpetd Flor Mat Pkg +865 Delivery and processing Chg)
-Incentives (specify if Toyota rebate or dealer markdown) -1,000 Toyota Rebate, -402 Dealer mark down
-Documentation Fees (These vary from state to state any where from $80 to 300) +299
-Selling price before TTL-$33,201 Out the door price (1,403 off of MSRP)
-Out the door price (after TTL/fees, specify tax %) -Not sure about Title and State Sales Tax It will be based on Nebraska
-Dealer location-Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersberg MD near DC. Worked with Serge Kolongo (Very good guy)

Plane ticket will cost me 111.00.

I found out that there were only 5 Advanced models from Nebraska West to the coast. CA had all 5 of them and none of them would go below MSRP in CA, especially for the harder to locate models with the white seats which seem to be more in demand. I found the best deals out East in MD and RI and NYH but my model and colors were difficult to find there too. I found a total of 3 including this one.

The 2nd place dealer was Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY (Sales guy Noah) at 33,688 and #3 was Koons Toyota in Annapolis MD at 35,100. One way to find dealers that will deal is to look up your model on the online classified web sites and contact the dealers with the best deals. This will get you started. Don't be afraid to ask a sales person if he could tell you locations of dealers in the region that have your exact model sitting on the lot. In my case I was able to find out that there were only 5 located West of Nebraska, all of which were in CA. I contacted all 5 of them right away and found out that they would not go below MSRP. CA gives residents of the state an additional 1,500 state rebate so these baby's are pretty "HOT" out there. Seems like the best deals are out East.

Proud new owner of a 2017 Prius Prime Advanced with Moonstone Interior. :)

Congrats on finding that color combo. I personally know how difficult it is. I just went though that 2 weeks ago.

Told them I wanted to deal just with OTD pricing and they worked with me. Did extract an extra $300 out of me since I only wanted to pay $29,000

is it true that the 1000 cash rebate only applies to Msrp? or off the negotiated price? like if I negotiate the price to invoice? is it 1000 off invoice?

Anyone have some recommendations of where to go for a good SoCal dealer? I've been looking around for the Plus and have only been able to get the price down to $29,600 to $30,000 out the door for cars with MSRP around $28,000. I don't think that's a bad price to be buying it at but when I look at the prices people have paid on here I'm a little jealous haha

Don't have an answer for you but I'm here to commiserate. I'm in Wisconsin and chose to pay $600 over MSRP to buy a Premium from the local dealer (who brought in a truckload from NY). So yes while there are some folks getting great deals there are suckers like me paying for convenience of not taking a few days off to buy a car (and immediately putting 1000 miles on it, I'm not a huge fan of road trips).

I wonder how much it would cost you to have a car shipped cross country from Maryland?

    Did some shopping this weekend.

    Prius Prime Advanced
    All weather floor liners/cargo tray

    MSRP $34,233
    Discount $750
    Rebate $1000
    Sale price $32,483

It's in a color I don't really care for Titanium Glow. There aren't many in this area. I would prefer a Premium. But, those are hard to come by. There are some Plus models around. But, they aren't discounting much on them. Going to see if a dealer with a Magnetic Gray will beat this dealer.

    Prius Prime Plus
    Special color
    Carpet floor mats/cargo mat
    Door edge guards
    Paint protection film

    MSRP $29,124
    Discount $1,357
    Rebate $1000
    Sale price $26,767

This seems like a good deal. It does have some added fluff accessories on there and not a color I would choose. Seeing if they can locate one with similar savings. If so, I will probably go with them.

Had my old car die unexpectedly on a Saturday. I'd figured on getting a Prius.. but was expecting a year or two more till I needed to go looking. Learned the prime existed Monday, put in a request via the costco auto program, who referred me to a dealer who had no Primes available, and claimed their next un-reserved one was nearly a month from delivery (as well as being an advance, and my least favorite color). Spent Tuesday making calls to every dealer within 400 miles. Only a couple available (maybe, never solidly confirmed available, salemen give the impression of saying anything possible to get me on the lot), usually in my least favorite color, and all the advance. One last call.. The saleman confirms they have one on the lot, unclaimed, arrived today. without me saying which i prefer, he tells me its the color I want, in a trim i am willing to afford, and they are not asking an extra markup (some dealers still wanted to add a premium to the price). Hold that sucker. 5 hours later, I'm signing papers and driving away in my very pretty car.

Thank you for this thread. I am a proud owner of a Prius Prime Premium

2017 Prius Prime Premium- Blizzard Pearl/Black interior; Carpet Floor Mats/Cargo mats and rear bumper applique
    -Msrp- Is $30,359
    -Documentation Fees ($302)
-Selling price before TTL- $29,000 (including $1000 Toyota rebate)
-Out the door price $32,627 (after TTL/fees, specify tax %)- $1000 rebate, no tax.
    -Dealer location- Capistrano Toyota

There are bunch of dealers in So Cal will give lower than MSRP. However, it is difficult to get color combination you want.

Some place like a dealer in Moreno Valley will bait and switch. They give you cheap price upfront and when you want the car, it is "not available". I talked to different sales person. He asked me "how much do you want to pay? i'll get one for you".

Wow on that price!!! And congradulations.

$25, 500 and without Doc fees is I think the best deal I have heard of.
What was the MSRP on your Prime Plus?
And how much was the Toyota rebate
and the dealer discount, broken out separate?
Does $25,500 include a NY state rebate or tax credit of any sort?

$28,298 "MSRP." This price included the delivery charge + port add ons + the $27,100 Toyota list price of the car alone.

    $2000 Toyota rebate
    Tax credits not considered
    No trade-in.
